Shape the systems that help us deliver for our customers

Technology is central to how we deliver services, make decisions and improve the customer experience. As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll help ensure our systems evolve to meet the needs of a modern, customer-focused organisation.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering strategic technology projects, identifying opportunities for improvement and turning business requirements into effective technical solutions. Working with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll help shape how our systems, data and processes work together to support our colleagues and customers.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead and support the delivery of system improvement and implementation projects, helping introduce new technologies and enhance existing applications in line with our technology strategy.

Working closely with stakeholders, you'll gather requirements, analyse business processes and translate organisational needs into practical system solutions. You'll also support system integration, data management and application resilience, ensuring our technology continues to perform effectively and reliably.

Alongside project delivery, you'll create and maintain high-quality documentation, provide expert technical advice and work collaboratively across IT teams to ensure new solutions are successfully transitioned into day-to-day operations.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who can combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

You'll have:

  • Experience delivering system improvement, implementation or transformation projects

  • Strong experience working with enterprise applications, databases or data integration solutions

  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into system solutions

  • An understanding of Microsoft technologies, cloud services and wider IT environments

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across a range of stakeholders

  • The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

  • Experience working collaboratively to deliver positive business outcomes

Qualifications in business analysis or it solutions design would be advantageous, although we're equally interested in the experience and expertise you can bring to the role.

Why join us?

At BFL, we're investing in technology that helps us work smarter, deliver better services and create positive outcomes for our customers. You'll be joining a collaborative team where your ideas and expertise will help shape future solutions, improve business processes and support meaningful organisational change.

We’re Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL), a place-based affordable housing provider supporting almost 300,000 customers across the southwest, central and east of England.

Our purpose is simple and honest: we invest in homes and relationships so that people can thrive. As the UK’s largest provider of new affordable homes, we deliver over 3,000 new homes each year—helping to meet growing demand and build stronger communities.

Why our work matters
The need for safe, affordable housing has never been greater. Rising costs, growing inequality and increasing homelessness are making it harder for people to buy or rent a home. Strong housing associations like BFL play a vital role in providing quality homes and creating opportunities for a better future.

Through place-based working, our teams build progress from the ground up. You’ll find us at the heart of the communities we serve—strengthening neighbourhood relationships, responding quickly to changing needs and planning for the long term.

We’re also a place where people can grow. We give our colleagues the tools and opportunities to build meaningful careers, develop future-ready skills and perform at their best, all within a supportive and inclusive culture guided by our values.

We’re a place for people determined to make a difference.

Bromford Flagship LiveWest. A place to make your own.

We are a proud "Disability Confident" (Level 2) and Menopause Friendly employer and have signed the Armed Forces covenant to support those who serve.

We encourage people from all sections of our community to apply for jobs with us. Particularly, we welcome those who have been historically underrepresented in areas of our workforce including people from ethnic minority backgrounds, disabled people and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
