At Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL), we invest in homes and relationships so people can thrive. We believe it is our customers' basic right to have a home that is safe, secure and warm. We won't compromise on ensuring our homes are all of this and more.
Compliance is a huge part of the work we do to keep our customers safe and happy in their homes. As our Compliance Administrator and Buyer, you'll provide essential support to the team, helping to ensure servicing and inspections are completed on time, processing invoices, raising purchase orders, supporting legal processes where required, and maintaining accurate records that enable key compliance programmes to operate effectively.
This is an opportunity to develop valuable knowledge of social housing compliance while working in a role where organisation, accuracy and attention to detail make a genuine difference. We're looking for someone who learns quickly, uses their initiative and enjoys solving problems while maintaining high standards.
What you'll be doing

Support the compliance team to ensure servicing and inspections are carried out on or before anniversary dates
Raise purchase orders for suppliers and contractors following servicing and repair visits, investigating any anomalies where required
Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Instruct solicitors to issue legal letters following breaches of tenancy agreements
Gather evidence and collate legal packs for compliance cases ahead of court hearings
Undertake accurate data entry and maintain compliance records and systems
Prepare agendas, arrange meetings, organise room bookings and collate minutes
Support the compliance team with all aspects of strategic administrative support
Support the Compliance Team's communication plan with colleagues, customers and contractors
Support the alignment of compliance policies, procedures and processes
Assist with updating and monitoring compliance systems and processes
Support the team to achieve compliance targets and regulatory requirements
Assist with the production of statistical reports relating to no-access visits
Support the wider Compliance function as required
What we're looking for
We're looking for a highly organised and methodical administrator who enjoys working in a detailed, process-driven environment. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, handling sensitive information and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
You'll bring:
Experience of raising purchase orders, processing invoices or supporting purchasing activities
Experience in an administrative, coordination or support role
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, contractors and external organisations
The ability to use your initiative and work independently when required
A proactive approach and willingness to learn quickly
The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Ideally, you'll also have:
Experience working within a legal practice, solicitor's office or supporting legal processes
Experience gathering evidence, preparing case documentation or managing legal correspondence
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
Experience supporting compliance, housing, property investment or related operational activities
Experience working in a customer-focused environment
Why join us?
This is an excellent opportunity to build your knowledge of compliance within one of the UK's leading housing providers. You'll gain exposure to a specialist area that plays a vital role in protecting customers and ensuring our homes remain safe and compliant.
You'll join a supportive team where your contribution matters, developing valuable experience across administration, purchasing, compliance and legal processes while helping us deliver great outcomes for our customers.
At BFL, we're customer-driven, ambitious and all-in. If you're looking for a role where your organisation, attention to detail and commitment to excellent service can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

About us
We’re Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL), a place-based affordable housing provider supporting almost 300,000 customers across the southwest, central and east of England.
Our purpose is simple and honest: we invest in homes and relationships so that people can thrive. As the UK’s largest provider of new affordable homes, we deliver over 3,000 new homes each year—helping to meet growing demand and build stronger communities.
Why our work matters The need for safe, affordable housing has never been greater. Rising costs, growing inequality and increasing homelessness are making it harder for people to buy or rent a home. Strong housing associations like BFL play a vital role in providing quality homes and creating opportunities for a better future.
Through place-based working, our teams build progress from the ground up. You’ll find us at the heart of the communities we serve—strengthening neighbourhood relationships, responding quickly to changing needs and planning for the long term.
We’re also a place where people can grow. We give our colleagues the tools and opportunities to build meaningful careers, develop future-ready skills and perform at their best, all within a supportive and inclusive culture guided by our values.
We’re a place for people determined to make a difference.
Bromford Flagship LiveWest. A place to make your own.

We’re proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work, thanks to our inclusive, values-driven culture. We know that diverse teams bring out the best in everyone, and we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.
We are a proud "Disability Confident" (Level 2) and Menopause Friendly employer and have signed the Armed Forces covenant to support those who serve.
We encourage people from all sections of our community to apply for jobs with us. Particularly, we welcome those who have been historically underrepresented in areas of our workforce including people from ethnic minority backgrounds, disabled people and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
