🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Ensure homes are safe, compliant, and ready for occupation, delivering high-quality window and door installations.
  • Install, repair, and maintain windows and doors, with the ability to carry out general multi-trade tasks where required.
  • Achieve first-time fixes wherever possible, arranging follow-on work and liaising with colleagues when needed.
  • Accurately measure, fit, and finish installations to a high standard, ensuring energy efficiency, security, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage materials and stock effectively, minimising waste and maintaining accurate records.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles clean, safe, and in good working condition.
  • Work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and contribute to team targets and continuous service improvement.

🧩 What We’re Looking For:

  • A skilled and versatile tradesperson with proven experience installing uPVC windows and composite doors; MTC Installer card desirable.
  • Additional trade skills such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, or basic plumbing are advantageous.
  • Flexible and solution-focused, with the ability to diagnose issues and deliver high-quality installations that meet customer expectations.
  • Confident using digital tools such as PDAs, tablets, or mobile devices to manage workloads.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Comfortable working within a social housing environment and engaging with a diverse range of customers.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently and maintaining excellent standards with minimal supervision.

Other Requirements:

  • A Basic DBS check is required (arranged by Bromford)
  • A Full UK Driving licence
