We're looking for skilled trades people experienced in UPVC window and Composite Door installations to join our trades team in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.

As a vital member of the team, you will take pride in the planned proactive improvements and maintenance of our domestic properties and be able to demonstrate a wide range of trade skills such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, roofing or plumbing.  

 

We want someone who:

  • Is a genuine all-rounder with strong practical skills and first-hand knowledge of the installation of UPVC windows, composite doors and preferably hold a MTC Installers card (desirable)
  • Carpentry, plastering, ceramic tiling or additional skills in plumbing would be advantageous and are desirable
  • Has plenty of flexibility, as well as a proven ability to diagnose, undertake and complete window and door installations to high levels of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Has the ability to use PDA, digital tablet, or mobile device
  • Is seen as a people person with excellent customer service skills
  • Feels comfortable working within a social housing environment
  • Has an outstanding work ethic and the drive to complete work to an excellent standard without close supervision
  • Has a full driving licence.

 

This is a mobile role travelling across Gloucestershire region, and you’ll need to have a full, clean driving licence and be willing to work 40 hours per week.  Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check will be undertaken for the successful applicant.
