Safe, well-managed homes provide the foundation for people to thrive. As Agency Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our supported housing services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with our responsibilities as a landlord.

Leading a specialist team, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of agency managed, lease-based and directly managed services. Working closely with managing agents, local authorities, commissioners and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure services deliver excellent customer outcomes, remain compliant, represent value for money and continue to evolve to meet changing needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced housing professional who enjoys balancing operational leadership, commercial awareness, performance management and partnership working in a complex and rewarding environment.


What you'll be doing

You'll lead a specialist team responsible for agency managed, lease-based and directly managed supported housing services across our organisation.

You'll:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Agency Managed Team
  • Oversee agency managed, lease-based and directly managed services
  • Build effective relationships with managing agents, commissioners and partners
  • Manage contracts, leases and service agreements to drive performance and value for money
  • Ensure services remain compliant, safe and customer focused
  • Lead the annual management charge-setting process and oversee income recovery
  • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, performance and customer outcomes
  • Provide assurance to senior leaders on compliance, risk and operational performance

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced leader who combines strong housing knowledge with excellent commercial, financial and stakeholder management skills.

You'll bring:

  • Experience leading supported housing, housing management or similar regulated services
  • Experience managing third-party providers, contracts or commissioned services
  • Strong knowledge of housing regulation, compliance and landlord responsibilities
  • Experience setting management charges, service charges or similar housing-related charges
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial and performance data
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes
