At Bromford Flagship LiveWest, finance is about far more than reporting numbers. It's about providing insight, influencing decisions and helping leaders make the right choices for our customers, colleagues and communities.
We're looking for a Finance Business Partner who can build strong relationships, challenge constructively and translate complex financial information into practical advice that supports business performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and evolving finance team, working alongside senior stakeholders to shape plans, drive performance and support the delivery of our strategic ambitions.

What you'll be doing
As a trusted partner to operational leaders, you'll provide commercial and financial insight that helps drive informed decision-making across the business.
You'll:

•    Build strong, credible relationships with stakeholders across your business areas
•    Provide commercial and financial challenge, support and guidance to leaders
•    Translate financial and non-financial data into meaningful insight
•    Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
•    Support business cases and investment decisions
•    Help identify opportunities, manage financial risks and improve performance
•    Develop financial understanding and capability across operational teams
•    Provide robust reporting, analysis and forecasting to support strategic and operational objectives
•    Champion continuous improvement and new ways of working across finance and the wider business

About you
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with outstanding relationship-building skills.
You'll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and presenting financial information in a way that is clear, engaging and easy to understand for non-finance audiences.

You'll also bring:
•    A professional finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
•    Experience in a Finance Business Partnering role
•    Proven success partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
•    Strong budgeting, forecasting, management accounting and business planning experience
•    The ability to challenge constructively and provide commercial insight
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills
•    Strong financial systems and data analysis capability, including advanced Excel skills
•    A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach

Why join us?
This is an opportunity to play a highly visible role within a growing organisation where your insight will directly influence decision-making and business performance.

You'll join a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement and professional development, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience while making a real impact.

If you're an experienced Finance Business Partner who enjoys building trusted stakeholder relationships and helping non-finance colleagues make confident, informed decisions, we'd love to hear from you.

We’re Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL), a place-based affordable housing provider supporting almost 300,000 customers across the southwest, central and east of England.

Our purpose is simple and honest: we invest in homes and relationships so that people can thrive. As the UK’s largest provider of new affordable homes, we deliver over 3,000 new homes each year—helping to meet growing demand and build stronger communities.

Why our work matters
The need for safe, affordable housing has never been greater. Rising costs, growing inequality and increasing homelessness are making it harder for people to buy or rent a home. Strong housing associations like BFL play a vital role in providing quality homes and creating opportunities for a better future.

Through place-based working, our teams build progress from the ground up. You’ll find us at the heart of the communities we serve—strengthening neighbourhood relationships, responding quickly to changing needs and planning for the long term.

We’re also a place where people can grow. We give our colleagues the tools and opportunities to build meaningful careers, develop future-ready skills and perform at their best, all within a supportive and inclusive culture guided by our values.

We’re a place for people determined to make a difference.

Bromford Flagship LiveWest. A place to make your own.

We’re proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work, thanks to our inclusive, values-driven culture. We know that diverse teams bring out the best in everyone, and we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.

We are a proud "Disability Confident" (Level 2) and Menopause Friendly employer and have signed the Armed Forces covenant to support those who serve.

We encourage people from all sections of our community to apply for jobs with us. Particularly, we welcome those who have been historically underrepresented in areas of our workforce including people from ethnic minority backgrounds, disabled people and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Wherever possible, we offer flexible working arrangements to help you balance your work and personal life, alongside the tools, training, and opportunities you need to develop and succeed in your career.
