We’re continuing to embed our place‑based approach across Bromford Flagship LiveWest, making sure every customer feels connected, supported and proud of where they live. As part of this journey, we’re looking for a committed and community‑minded colleague to step into the role of Place Lead – a role that sits at the heart of how we deliver brilliant local services.

About the role

Place Leads are the connectors of our communities. You’ll bring together the full range of customer‑facing services in your Place, making sure they feel coordinated, personal and genuinely responsive. You’ll work closely with your team, with repairs and property colleagues, and with a wide range of partners across the community to make sure customers experience a seamless service that truly reflects their needs.

Reporting to the Head of Area, you’ll champion local insight, strengthen relationships, and help bring our place‑based model to life on the ground. This role is as much about leadership as it is about being visible, engaged and trusted within the community.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the day‑to‑day delivery of housing, neighbourhood, income, lettings and community services across your Place.
  • Co‑creating a Place Plan with customers and colleagues, ensuring local priorities shape how services evolve.
  • Working closely with repairs and property teams to create a joined‑up, proactive approach to customer repairs.
  • Using data, feedback and local knowledge to improve performance, service quality and the overall customer experience.
  • Managing the operational budget for your Place and ensuring decisions deliver long‑term value.
  • Coaching and supporting colleagues, helping to build a culture where teams feel empowered, accountable and invested in local outcomes.
  • Developing strong working relationships with local agencies, partners and community groups to create opportunities for customers to thrive.
  • Acting as an advocate for customers and communities, ensuring their voices influence decisions at Place and regional level.

About you

You’ll be someone who thrives on collaboration, connection and making a difference. You understand the importance of strong local relationships, and you’re confident leading teams through change and complexity.

You will bring:

  • Experience leading people and customer‑facing services, ideally within housing or another regulated environment.
  • The ability to manage budgets and make considered, evidence‑based decisions.
  • A strengths‑based, solution‑focused approach to problem‑solving.
  • A strong grasp of service performance, compliance and the regulatory landscape.
  • A passion for improving customer outcomes and helping communities succeed.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. CIH) or a willingness to work towards one.

You will also need

  • A commitment to role‑modelling our values every day.
  • Resilience and adaptability, particularly during periods of change.
  • A full driving licence and flexibility to work across your Place and the wider area.
  • The ability to work in ways that suit customer and service needs.

Please refer to the job description to ensure you meet the essential criteria of the role.

If you believe this opportunity aligns with your strengths and the difference you want to make in your community, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply by Friday 24 April 2026, 12 noon.
