We are looking for an experienced functional consultant with expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O (Operations) to help  unlock the full potential of our ERP solutions. You’ll play a critical role in shaping and supporting our D365 F&O Operations roadmap, ensuring the effective alignment of technical solutions with business strategies.

Bromford’s Tech Mission
It’s a unique time here at Bromford Flagship as we embark on one of the most ambitious technology transformations to ever occur in the social housing industry. The motivation is driven by our simple, overarching belief:

We believe every customer deserves a safe, secure, and warm home. We ensure our homes meet these standards and more. Our goal is to provide homes that customers are proud of, that support their families, and help them achieve their aspirations.

To meet our goals, we recognize the need for a true technology evolution and a fundamental change in how we operate.

What does this mean in reality? Exponential growth of our tech team, utilizing best-in-class technologies and practices you’d expect from a cutting-edge tech company in 2025. Most excitingly, we are building out a Dynamics-focused ERP and Power Platform engineering team, for which this role is a key component.

The role is permanent and full time. You can be based form any of our main offices in Chipping Sodbury, Tewkesbury, Wolverhampton or London with regular home working available. The role requires a basic DBS check.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively to achieve a common set of business goals, utilizing the full capabilities of D365 F&O (Operations) and its future roadmap.
  • Assisting in the setup of new ways of working and a new operating model, establishing a sector-leading functional consulting approach.
  • Translating Bromford’s strategy and business needs into effective, packaged software solutions.
  • Contributing to, maintaining, and communicating the D365 F&O (Operations) roadmap, adopting cutting-edge features and functionality, including AI.
  • Leveraging Enterprise Asset Management and Work Order/Contract Management capabilities within D365 F&O (Operations) to ensure critical asset management and operational processes are optimized.
  • Partnering with stakeholders and product owners to implement the roadmap through both continuous improvement and project-based initiatives.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the software development lifecycle to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Evangelizing D365 F&O (Operations) solutions internally to leadership and externally to key partners.
  • Supporting and resolving issues as part of a cross-functional support and improvement team.
  • Mentoring less experienced team members and associates at the start of their journey.
  • Acting as an in-house expert on the functional capabilities of D365 F&O (Operations), particularly in asset management and operational processes.
  • Contributing to a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining professional standards, including completing mandatory certifications and personal development plans.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Mastery of D365 F&O (Operations)
  • Proven experience in functional consulting practices.
  • Familiarity with working at scale within Dynamics (e.g., supporting 3,500+ colleagues, 80,000+ properties, 200,000+ customers).
  • Expertise in Enterprise Asset Management and Work Order/Contract Management processes within D365 F&O.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders effectively.
  • Multiple full-lifecycle D365 F&O (Operations) implementation experience.
  • Experience working in a continuous change environment.
  • Housing experience is desirable but not essential with the right functional expertise.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Communicates effectively and excels at problem-solving.
  • Has strong attention to detail and can solve complex problems.
  • Is influential and able to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Thrives under pressure, remaining clear and calm.
  • Places emphasis on customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Is self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Important information for internal colleagues:

If you are successful, you will move onto Bromford's new terms and conditions and will adopt these benefits as part of your colleague package. For more information and FAQs about the new T&Cs, visit Hub. (N.B. this will not apply if you are moving into a role as part of a secondment)

Secondments:

If you are seconded into a role that pays more than your substantive role, you will receive a secondment allowance. This effectively “tops up” your pay to match that of the seconded role for the duration of your secondment. As the allowance is separate from your substantive salary, it is not included in e.g. performance-related pay (PRP) calculations, pension contributions etc.

If your salary is more than that advertised for the role you’re seconding into, there will be no drop in salary during the secondment.
