We are looking for a skilled and motivated integration software developer to join our Microsoft Dynamics 365 engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our core systems by developing and maintaining critical integrations between Dynamics F&O, CE, and other enterprise applications. You’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless data and service flow across the business, helping to enhance the customer experience and support Bromford’s digital transformation.

Bromford’s Mission

It’s a unique time here at Bromford as we embark on one of the most ambitious technology transformations in the social housing sector. Our mission is grounded in a simple but powerful belief:

We believe every customer deserves a safe, secure, and warm home. We ensure our homes meet these standards and more. Our goal is to provide homes that customers are proud of, that support their families, and help them achieve their aspirations.

To achieve this, we know that technology - and the people behind it - are critical.

This role is permanent and full time. You can be based from any of our main offices in Chipping Sodbury, Tewkesbury, Wolverhampton, Lichfield or Norfolk with regular home working available. A basic DBS check is required.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing integrations between core systems, including Dynamics 365 F&O and CE.
  • Working with Logic Apps and other Microsoft technologies to deliver robust, efficient, and scalable integration solutions.
  • Reviewing and interpreting design specifications from Lead and Senior Developers, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Supporting unit testing, troubleshooting bugs, and deploying fixes as part of our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Contributing to a developer Community of Practice to promote continual improvement and best practices.
  • Participating in Agile development processes and using Azure DevOps for task and sprint management.
  • Maintaining technical documentation to ensure maintainability and clarity of codebases.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable of experience developing and maintaining integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with Logic Apps, APIs, and web services.
  • Familiarity with Dataverse and awareness of Dynamics 365 F&O and CE integration contexts.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and senior developers.
  • Logical thinker and effective problem-solver.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Dual Write, Application Insights, or X++.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power FX), or Microsoft Copilot.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Shows curiosity, ownership, and drive when tackling problems and projects.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and is open to learning and sharing.
  • Embraces the Bromford DNA by being bold, honest, brilliant—and themselves.

We welcome internal applications, and this role will be advertised to colleagues only until 1 July 2025.

If we receive no internal interest this role will be passed to our recruitment partners, Revoco. If you want to apply after the internal closing date, please reach out to Iain Blair (IBlair@revoco-talent.co.uk) who will be able to process your application.

Important information for internal colleagues:

If you are successful, you will move onto Bromford's new terms and conditions and will adopt these benefits as part of your colleague package. For more information and FAQs about the new T&Cs, visit Hub. (N.B. this will not apply if you are moving into a role as part of a secondment)

Secondments:

If you are seconded into a role that pays more than your substantive role, you will receive a secondment allowance. This effectively “tops up” your pay to match that of the seconded role for the duration of your secondment. As the allowance is separate from your substantive salary, it is not included in e.g. performance-related pay (PRP) calculations, pension contributions etc.

If your salary is more than that advertised for the role you’re seconding into, there will be no drop in salary during the secondment.
