We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our friendly electrical repairs team, working 20 hours per week in our customers properties. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills while making a positive impact on the lives of our customer.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical fault diagnosis, and repair work of faulty electrical accessories to the highest standards, ensuring all work complies with current regulations and safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will liaise directly with customers, arranging access to properties and keeping them informed throughout the process.

You will be physically able to undertake manual handling tasks and hold a valid UK driving license.  Sharing a company van is an integral part of the role. Due to the nature of this role an enhanced DBS check will be completed for you, if you are successful.  This role requires flexibility to travel in the Wolverhampton area.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • 18th edition or time served
  • C&G Electrical Test and Inspection certificate (desirable)
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
  • Previous experience as an electrician within the domestic sector (desirable)
  • AM2 preferred, though not essential
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant building, housing, customer services, health and safety, regulatory and technical legislation and best practice
  • Use of IT systems/software e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A full, clean driving licence
